Oussama Khatib - July 8th

Oussama Khatib is Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University and Director of the Stanford Robotics Lab. A pioneer in modern robotics, his research has advanced control architectures, motion generation, and human-centered robotic design. His work focuses on enabling robots to interact safely and effectively with humans and complex environments, with applications spanning healthcare, industry, and operations in remote and extreme settings.

Marco Hutter - July 9th

Marco Hutter leads the Robotics and AI Institute’s Zurich office, while serving as Professor for Robotics at ETH Zurich and Director of the ETH Center for Robotics. Prior to his work at the Institute, he co-founded several robotics startups. His research focuses on the development of novel machines and actuation concepts, together with the underlying control, planning, and machine learning algorithms for agile legged locomotion and manipulation.

I-Ming Chen - July 10th

Professor I-Ming Chen is a leading expert in robotics and automation at Nanyang Technological University, where he previously directed the Robotics Research Centre. His research focuses on construction and logistics robotics, human–robot interaction, and industrial automation. An IEEE and ASME Fellow, he is internationally recognized for his leadership in large-scale robotics initiatives and for bridging academic research with industrial deployment.

Hermano Igo Krebs - TBD

Professor Krebs is a Principal Research Scientist in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT and one of the founders of the field of Rehabilitation Robotics. His pioneering research focuses on the application of robotics and informatics to track and facilitate the recovery of neurological functions. His work centers on the development of robotic tools that can quantify and improve motor rehabilitation for patients with stroke, cerebral palsy, and other neurological disorders.
